Dr.JAZZ PRESENTS “ORENO JAZZ CLUB” is launching!!
~Monday Session~
Thank you for your continued patronage of Oreno French Grand Maison TOKYO.
We are pleased to announce a collaboration between some of Japan's leading jazz musicians, combining music and food.
On this day, we will be operating under special conditions, focusing on showtimes, rather than our usual schedule.
The space of the grand restaurant has been transformed into an authentic jazz club.
Take this opportunity to fully enjoy some exhilarating, authentic jazz.

[Dennis Lambert (piano)]
He performed in various countries around the world for eight years as a member of the U.S. Air Force Band. He received numerous awards, including the most prestigious "Band Member of the Year Award," which is given to the entire Air Force Band. He was also deployed to war zones such as Iraq and Afghanistan, where he performed.
He has performed in front of many government officials, including former US President Bill Clinton. Furthermore, he has collaborated with numerous renowned artists such as Jason Marsalis, Eddie Daniels, and Batch Miles.
Currently, they perform mainly at five-star hotels in Tokyo, and also engage in live performances and tours throughout Japan. They have released seven albums to date, with their latest being "Pathway".
 
[Kengo Nakamura (Bass)]
He is one of Japan's leading jazz bassists. After studying at Berklee College of Music, he based himself in New York and joined the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra led by Wynton Marsalis. As a member of the Marsalis Quartet, he performed at the Presidents' Summit hosted by former President Clinton, and the performance was broadcast nationwide in the United States. He has collaborated with many top artists, including Benny Golson, Mal Waldron, Roy Hargrove, Antonio Hart, Sadao Watanabe, and Makoto Ozone. He has also released many albums as a leader and is active both in Japan and overseas. He has received high praise both domestically and internationally, including winning first place in the bass category of Swing Journal magazine's "Japanese Jazzmen Reader Popularity Poll" for three consecutive years.
 
[Gene Jackson (Drums)]
A jazz drummer from Philadelphia. After studying at Berklee College of Music, he based himself in New York and toured the world as the regular drummer for Herbie Hancock's group for about 10 years starting in 1991. He remained the drummer throughout the group's lineup and formation changes, consistently supporting their music.
He has collaborated with numerous top artists, including Wayne Shorter, Branford Marsalis, and the Mingus Big Band, and has participated in over 150 recordings. Currently based in the United States and Japan, he is active internationally and also dedicates himself to music education. He is highly regarded as a true New York jazz drummer, supporting ensembles with his exceptional swing and delicate brushwork.
 
Special guest: Remi Nanchi (vocals)
She graduated from the Department of Theatre Arts, Faculty of Letters, Meiji University. She studied vocals and dance with a foundation in vocal music, and in 1999, as a member of the dance and chorus group "AN-J," she made her major debut with Avex, singing the theme song for the TBS drama "Shumatsu Kon" (Weekend Marriage). Later, after winning the grand prize at the Asakusa Jazz Contest, she transitioned to becoming a jazz singer. She studied under Masashiro Kanemaru, Charito, Martha Miyake, and Beverley Hanshaw in New York, and has since expanded her activities as a highly skilled jazz vocalist. 
With her distinctive slightly husky and soaring voice, she performs in a wide range of ensembles, from duos to big bands. She has released eight jazz albums to date and has expanded her activities to include live performances not only in Japan but also in Los Angeles and San Francisco. For over 20 years, she has also been involved in training aspiring singers as a vocal trainer, and since 2022, she has been a lecturer in the Jazz and Popular Music Department at Showa University of Music.
